Major Chro (pronounced 'hghro') was the Diitopis science officer aboard the Avalon under the command of Captain Lucy Bard prior to the rescue of This Might Be a Good Idea.
Appearance[]
As a Diitopis, Chro lives inside a mechanical suit so that he can interact with other people/objects. His gaseous form has a blue hue to it.
Biography[]
Major Chro was the science officer on board the Avalon when the new Captain, Lucy Bard, took command. Chro was very brisk and quickly became unliked by members of the crew, notably the tactical officer Sira the Unbidden.
After the Avalon rescued This Might Be a Good Idea, Major Chro was demoted from his role as the ship's science officer. Unhappy with his captain's decision, Major Chro broke in and confronted the Pac-Ha on board the ship. Seeing the truth behind the Pac-Ha's eyes, Major Chro shot and killed it, causing the Avalon to immediately go to crossing speed and careen uncontrollably across the Slate and into Brightest Eye territory.
Major Chro was identified as the murderer after an investigation by the Avalon's security team. Sira the Unbidden and Tor-hto confronted Chro in a storage room, and Sira was able to subdue him by fusing his suit with her burning fists.
After being arrested on the Avalon for the murder of a Pac-Ha, Chro was taken back to Kirae and handed over to the Pac-Ha. At some point after this he was transferred to the Sanctum where he underwent "Correction". However, before the correction could be completed, Chro was rescued by an unknown individual and removed from the installation.
